At the age of seven, London Boyce is hashtag goals. Not only is she an author, model and entrepreneur, London can now add actress to her resume.
Making her big screen debut in Lionsgate thriller “ Antebellum ” in which London plays the daughter of famed actress/entertainer, Janelle Monáe, London is doing big things. Prior to becoming an actress, London was the face of Blue Bell Icecream’s mini bars as a model. Familiar with the entertainment biz and understanding the importance of self-love, London dropped her first book, “Wonder London: I Hate My Curly Hair”. This kid- friendly book explains how London had to learn to love her natural hair.
Inspired by the book, a movement was created, ” The Curly Girl Movement “. London gathered twelve natural haired girls from all over the country to form “Curly Wonder Girls” . This movement was created to give young girls, such as herself a platform to embrace their natural curls, and love their hair regardless of what mainstream media presents.
Although London is super busy she still finds time to be a kid. She enjoys playing Roblox and loves unicorns. When asked why she loves her natural hair she stated, “I learned that my hair is my superpower. It can be straight one day, and when water hits it I’m instantly curly again. My hair makes me special and unique and I’ve learned to love it.
