Inspired to open a boutique for plus-size women of all shapes and sizes, Emma, founder and creator of Sapphire Laine and Co., began her journey as an entrepreneur. Bold, confident women, whom love the skin they are in, were her muses.
“Curvy women are taught by society that they have to be a size six or smaller to be considered beautiful and that’s very untrue”, stated Emma.
Emma has a purpose to show women that they can be classy, bold and beautiful, no matter what size they are.

The dresses that are offered are timeless and can be loved for many seasons to come. “Fast fashion is great ,but we want to focus on giving women what they want: unique, timeless, pieces that are sure to be worn more than once”, stated Emma.

A name with a flattering purpose.
When brainstorming for names for the boutique, Emma looked for the perfect way to describe the beauty of a woman’s curves. For her, the curves of a woman represent strength, royalty and power- just like the Sapphire Stone. Laine, a baby name Emma and her husband adored, blended well with the name Sapphire. And there you have it, Sapphire Laine and Co. is born!
