Vienne Cheung Brown is a woman with one dream: to bring luxurious thigh highs from Italy to the United States. Vienne’s three passions: fashion, travel and fine hosiery, particularly from Italy, lead her to entrepreneurship and ultimately, becoming the founder of VienneMilano.
For Vienne, stockings are the ultimate fashion accessory. The legs are a canvas, ready for color and texture, and can define any outfit.
Fuel For The Fire
Frustrated by the inability to find a wide variety of luxury hosiery in the United States, Vienne decided to step up to the challenge and start the first luxury hosiery brand and online boutique dedicated to thigh high stockings, over the knee socks, and knee high socks, for every occasion.
“I spent close to a year researching, visiting suppliers in Italy, and developing the VienneMilano brand. For us, not only was it essential to find a partner who produced exceptional hosiery, but we valued companies who also fit our brand”, stated Vienne.
When asked how much of her personal style is reflected within the brand, Vienne explained, “In the beginning, our designs were entirely based on my personal style. For example, I love the color purple, which is evident in our logo. In our inaugural collection, we featured various shades of purple colored stockings as well. Today, our design decisions are influenced by a balance of our customers’ preferences, fashion trends, and my personal style.”
Today, VienneMilano has five collections which include the Permanent Collection, Signature Collection, Bridal Collection, Vintage Collection and Plus-Size Collection. The brand has sizes up to a 3x, almost every color of the rainbow and prices starting at $15 and going up to $120 plus.
