I am all about comfort, versatility and style. Thank the heavens I’ve found Shapermint. I have been in the market for a new bralette and just couldn’t commit to what I was finding online. Then, I came across Shapermint.
I was really excited to see a wide variety of bodies represented in their campaigns, some of the models even had visibly larger bust, like me. Not only that, it was a relief to see a soft, breathable fabric. That hugged the body but, also had some stretch.
Happy with everything I saw, I decided to purchase a white, Truekind™ Everyday Essential Throw-on Wireless Bra bra and a black Truekind™ Everyday Essential Throw-on Wireless Bra. I ordered a 2x because I wanted to make sure I had enough support. Like I mentioned prior, the fabric looked soft and had some stretch. I wanted a firm hold so I went a size down. Honelsty, I could have done well with a 3x, although the 2x is snug it is not tight!
The Truekind bras came in the mail, individually wrapped and labeled. I was excited about how soft the fabric was. The fabric was cool and stretchy. To be honest, I was a bit nervous that I wouldn’t have enough support, but once the bra was over my head, I was excited!
I love the wide straps. The straps don’t dig into my shoulders and they don’t slip, which is amazing! Also, the back of the bra is wide and has enough fabric that it tucks in all of my back fat, leaving a smoothing effect under my clothes.
One cool feature of the bra, one that I didn’t like (at first!), but quickly appreciated, was the fact that each bra cup has a removable and adjustable nipple pad. This pad adds extra protection for sheer tops but also can slip right out if not needed. The bra has a tiny slit on the side and by the straps. This makes inserting the nipple pad quick and easy.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I look forward to seeing what else Shapermint has in store!
