Let’s dive into our super fun mini-series that’s all about celebrating a few cool entrepreneurs! PaSH is centered around sharing inspiring stories, breaking down stereotypes, and sharing the authentic, behind-the-scenes moments that make entrepreneurs so amazing. Let’s dive into, “Llamas, Leadership, and a Little Bit of Magic: Meet the Woman Behind The Wellbeing Farm”.

Meet Celia Gaze

Celia is the founder of The Wellbeing Farm. Celia is an entrepreneur, who turned stress to success when she took over the Wellbeing Farm. She is changing the world one event at a time. She is an advocate of sustainability. She turned a struggling farm in Edgworth into an incredible success after she came up with the idea to put a bow tie on one of her llamas She became one of the first wedding venues to adopt the B Corp certification and has recently recertified with a score of 108.6 – the top score being 110 per cent, making it one of the top performing B Corps in the country.

She recently held a B Corp event which was attended by over 80 people. It featured Patrick Grant of the Great British Sewing Bee. In the run up to the event she has been attending climate events around the world including The Eden Project’s Anthropy, Change Now in Paris.

If your business had a theme song, what would it be and why?

“Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.

Because if there’s one thing that’s carried me through burnout, business pivots, and bowtie-wearing llamas—it’s belief. Belief that business can be a force for good. Belief that a farm in Lancashire can host events that change lives. And belief that even the craziest ideas (like Conscious Day or a B Corp Festival) can spark a movement if you just keep going.

What’s the most unexpected lesson you’ve learned since starting your business?

That failure is often a gift in disguise. The moments that felt like rock bottom: burnout, near-bankruptcy, the chaos of Covid, were actually turning points. If I hadn’t hit those lows, I wouldn’t have put a bow tie on a llama, discovered B Corp, or created Conscious Day. Every so-called ‘disaster’ cracked something open and made space for something better, more purposeful, and often a little bit magical.

What’s your go-to mantra or quote when the going gets tough?

“You only get one life- what are you going to do with yours?”

It’s the reminder that keeps me grounded, bold, and purposeful. But after seeing Mel Robbins live in London, “Let Them” is quickly becoming a close second. It’s such a powerful mindset shift: stop controlling, stop overthinking, and just let people do what they do… while you stay focused on your mission. Together, those two mantras keep me moving forward, even when things get messy.

How do you stay motivated and innovative in your business?

By surrounding myself with purpose-driven people, staying endlessly curious, and always asking: “What if?” That mindset sparked Conscious Day, B Corp Fest, and even a book about a llama in a bowtie.

Travel also fuels me: I intentionally seek out sustainable and purpose-filled places that light a fire in my imagination. And above all, I’m a lifelong student. Whether it’s learning from a podcast, a person, or a place, I never stop looking for the next spark of inspiration.

What’s the craziest idea you’ve ever had for your business that worked?

Putting a bow tie on a llama. It started as a wild, quirky idea to stand out, but it ended up becoming the symbol of The Wellbeing Farm and the title of my first book! It’s proof that when you back bold ideas with meaning and purpose, magic happens. What began as a marketing gimmick turned into a movement – one that’s still opening doors (and turning heads) today.

If your business were a fashion trend, what would it be and why?

A bold, sustainable power suit with glittery wellies. The Wellbeing Farm is all about making an impact with purpose and personality. We’re rooted in sustainability, but we never take ourselves too seriously. We’re not afraid to roll up our sleeves, get muddy, and do the hard work, but we’ll do it with sparkle, creativity, and flair.

It’s a mix of grit and glamour. Business with heart, events with soul, and a whole lot of fun along the way. Because who says conscious can’t be colourful?

How do you handle competition, and what sets your business apart from others in your field?

I don’t see others as competitors, I see collaborators. We’re all part of a wider ecosystem trying to create meaningful experiences. But what sets The Wellbeing Farm apart is that we don’t just host events, we create moments that matter. Every celebration is rooted in purpose, playfulness, and a commitment to people and the planet.

Where else can you be greeted by a bowtie-wearing llama, have your strategy day powered by a wind turbine, meet Sandra the sheep in her diamanté collar, and know that your event is taking place at one of the first B Corp certified venues of its kind in the world?

Our events come with grazing boards, greenery, and conscious magic. It’s not about ticking boxes, it’s about lighting people up and leaving a lasting impact long after the bunting comes down.

In a world full of trends, how do you keep your business authentic and true to your vision?

By anchoring everything to our purpose: creating meaningful moments that are good for people and the planet. When you’re clear on your “why,” trends don’t distract you, they either align or pass you by.

That said, it’s almost funny how many trends we’ve naturally embodied: wellbeing, sustainability, purpose-led business, experiential events… we didn’t follow them, we were them before they were cool. Now we’re actively trying to shape the next big shift by championing conscious business through initiatives like Conscious Day.

Authenticity isn’t about ignoring change, it’s about being so rooted in your values that the right trends grow from them.

If you could have dinner with any entrepreneur (alive or dead), who would it be, and what would be the first question you’d ask them?

Anita Roddick without a doubt. She was a trailblazer who proved that business can be a powerful force for good long before it was mainstream. I’d ask her, “How did you hold your nerve when everyone thought you were mad for caring more about purpose than profit?”

I know that feeling. When you challenge the status quo, whether it’s putting a bow tie on a llama, creating Conscious Day, or becoming a B Corp it can feel lonely. But Anita showed us that you can be values-led, bold, and still build something extraordinary. I’d love to soak up her courage, conviction, and cheeky defiance over a good glass of red.

If your business could have its reality show, what would it be called, and what would it be about?

“Bowties & Bonkers: Life on The Wellbeing Farm.”

It would be a behind-the-scenes rollercoaster of conscious chaos – think sustainability meets celebration with a dash of mud, mischief, and llama glamour.

There honestly isn’t a day that goes by where something bonkers doesn’t happen. Whether it’s a last-minute wedding crisis, Sandra the sheep escaping in her diamanté collar, or a llama photobombing an event, we’re always saying, “This place needs its own reality show!”

It would be equal parts heartwarming, hilarious, and thought-provoking. Real people, real purpose, and real-life magic with bow ties of course!
