November 11th 2025 was a great day to be in Atlanta, specifically, at The Gathering Spot. The vibes were on point and I got to enjoy some food that didn’t just taste good, it was inspirational. Let’s dive into, “Inside A Flavor: A Night of Food, Soul + Sisterhood”.
FOX SOUL’s newest original series, A Flavor, made its long-awaited debut, and the city showed up ready to indulge in a few of Atlanta’s staple restaurants.
The Premiere
The exclusive premiere was more than a private viewing party! This night was a full-on culinary celebration honoring the six powerhouse women who are redefining Atlanta’s dining scene. From soulful greens and buttery cornbread to crispy wings, tender lamb chops, and creamy shrimp & grits, every bite told a story. Dessert lovers weren’t left out either; there were decadent baked treats that reminded everyone why Atlanta is quickly becoming the South’s sweetest hotspot.

The Taste
Each dish represented more than flavor, it represented legacy, strength and resilience. The women behind A Flavor have built empires one plate at a time, and this tasting was a delicious preview of the heart and hustle that fuels their success. Watching guests go from table to table, laughing and sampling each restaurateur’s creation felt like a love letter to community, creativity, and culture.
When the lights dimmed and the exclusive screening began, the room shifted from buzzing energy to quiet awe. The first episode rolled, and suddenly, everyone was part of something bigger. a new television series that celebrates women in business, entrepreneurship, culture and Atlanta.

By the end of the night, plates were empty but hearts were full. There was laughter, pictures, and excitement for the Premier on Saturday, November 22nd at 7pm EST. And if you have not, head over to each restaurant and give them a “taste” before the premier, don’t miss out!
