Let’s dive into our super fun mini-series that’s all about celebrating a few cool entrepreneurs! PaSH is centered around sharing inspiring stories, breaking down stereotypes, and sharing the authentic, behind-the-scenes moments that make entrepreneurs so amazing. Let’s dive into, “For the Chic Germaphobe: This Brand Redefines Clean Girl Luxury On the Go”!
Meet Bridget Francis
Serial entrepreneur, mother, widow, and the first African American woman to start a travel sanitary solutions company. Bridget has always found herself diving into her passions and sharing them with the world. As a New Orleans native, Bridget first began her entrepreneurial journey by opening a daycare. At
the start of the pandemic, Bridget quickly realized that her “germaphobia” began long before the world was in a crisis. As an avid traveler, Bridget would always bring her sheets and towels when staying away from home. With not having easily accessible options such as disposable towels, bedding, and more, she knew it was time to do what she does best…start a company. Having sanitary options are no longer just for medical facilities or massage therapists, B Luxury Essentials is providing biodegradable travel sanitary solutions for all those who want to do their part in stopping the spread of diseases, infections, and
viruses.
If your business had a theme song, what would it be and why?
“On Fire” by Alicia Keys
This song captures the essence of a woman walking in her purpose. B Luxury Essentials was built during a season of transformation, and I truly felt like I was on fire—in the best way. Every product we offer reflects that heat, passion, and purpose. It’s about creating luxury in everyday life, even when everything around you is chaotic.
Describe your brand in three emojis. Go!

If you could have dinner with any entrepreneur (alive or dead), who would it be, and what would be the first question you’d ask them?
Tyler Perry
I’d first ask him: “What kept you going when the odds were stacked against you?”
His story is powerful, and I know I’d have a notebook full of questions, but that one means the most to me. I want to understand the mindset it takes to keep showing up for yourself when no one else sees your vision yet.
What’s one stereotype about entrepreneurs that you’d love to break?
That everything is always great.
People see the wins, but rarely the tears, losses, or mental battles. Being an entrepreneur isn’t just about having a product—it’s about carrying a vision even on days when it feels heavy.
What’s your go-to mantra or quote when the going gets tough?
“God didn’t bring me this far to only bring me this far. It’s a must that I keep going.”
That reminder helps me push through, even when I’m tired or uncertain. My faith is the foundation of everything I do.
How do you keep your creativity flowing when motivation is low?
Prayer—always. Then I revisit my “why.” I look at the people I’m doing this for, and I remember where I started. That usually reignites the flame.
In a world full of trends, how do you keep your business authentic and true to your vision?
I stay true to myself. I’ve never been one to follow what’s trending or jump on what the world says is “hot” right now. If it doesn’t align with who I am or what my brand stands for, I leave it alone. I’m not the type to stand in a grocery store line because the news says a storm is coming—I do what works for me, and that same mindset shows up in how I run my business.
How do you handle competition, and what sets your business apart from others in your field?
Honestly, I don’t see competition. Yes, other brands offer similar products, but B Luxury Essentials isn’t just about what we sell—it’s about how we serve. We focus on everyday luxury and problem-solving with intention. From travel hygiene to in-home comfort, we’re here to make your experience cleaner, more convenient, and elevated—whether you’re at home or on the go.
