The Blondery’s founder and executive pastry chef, Auzerais Bellamy, doesn’t just bake desserts, she curates experiences.
Auzerais: The Vision Behind the Brand
Behind it all is Auzerais Bellamy. She is a culinary artist and business woman. The synthesis of passion and experience has fueled what Auzerais believes is her magnum opus: Blondery, a seasonal collection of handmade blondies launched in November 2016. While Auzerais has held titles at some of the finest kitchens around the globe- including Sous Chef at Bouchon Bakery – the most fulfilling has been that of Founder and CEO of Blondery.
Blondery is a one-of-a-kind cloud bakery that presents seasonal blondie collections throughout the year to our nearly 10K (and counting) waitlist members. Blondery has been featured in publications such as the New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and Eater and has been trusted to deliver exceptional product quality by brands like Netflix, Spotify, and Viacom.
She launched The Blondery in 2016 with one mission: to create an online, luxury, direct-to-consumer bakery that delivered joy and intention in every box. She’s done that and more.
Her journey hasn’t been without obstacles. Like many women and particularly women of color, especially in the food space, she’s faced uphill battles when it comes to funding and scaling. Food is a tough business. The margins are slim. And when you’re sourcing premium ingredients, maintaining artistry, and refusing to compromise on quality, the climb gets steeper.
That’s part of why The Blondery recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to meet the growing demand, expand her kitchen operations, and continue offering an uncompromising product to a loyal and growing audience. But most importantly, help the business catch up on late rent payments for the bakery.
It’s not a plea for help. It’s an invitation to invest in beauty. In craftsmanship. In a brand that has proven again and again that luxury has no rules, only intention.
The Food
Her menu? Minimal, seasonal, and highly anticipated. Her flavors? Rich, layered, and unapologetically gourmet. But the thing that sets Blonderie apart isn’t just the pecan-salted caramel or the perfect square cut of her mini blondies, it’s the intent behind every bite. The absence of dyes and chemicals and luxury, high quality ingredients shipped right to your doorstep. Let’s dive into, “Can You Put a Price on Luxury? Michelin Worthy, TikTok Famous, The Blondery Needs Your Support”.
The Joy of Small Bites
The Blondery takes a different approach: intentional portions, maximal flavor. The mini blondies are tiny masterpieces, dense with texture, deep in flavor, and beautifully boxed. Every bite is intended to make you pause, savor and enjoy.
The Cake-in-a-Jar That Changes Everything
Then there’s the cake in a jar. Mouth watering and so delicious. A fan favorite in our office is salted caramel.
Where do we begin? The soft layers of devil’s food cake, Valrhona Chocolate Pearls, 64% Guittard chocolate buttercream, chocolate chip blondie, vanilla buttercream, toasted pecans, salted caramel ganache…it’s the kind of dessert that makes you say, “Oh, I get it now.” It’s not just a jar. It’s a mood. A memory. A reminder that something small can still be significant.
The Blondery is perfect for gifting, weddings, corporate retreats and just to say, “I Love You”.
But It’s So Expensive?!?!?
Let’s talk about an elephant in the room: the price. The Blondery offers luxury treats and premium ingredients. Despite the quality you can see and taste, there are still comments left on the brands TikTok profile such as, “It’s delicious, but pricey.” “The portions are too small for the price paid.” “Do I need to spend this much on dessert?”
To that we say: Can you really put a price on luxury?
Think about it, no one asks Hermès to make less expensive bags. Or questions the price tag on a Nubo dinner. Or wonders why couture dresses aren’t on sale. We accept that certain experiences are intentionally rare, crafted with precision, and priced to reflect care, skill, and scarcity.
Blondery doesn’t try to be everything for everyone. It doesn’t chase mass appeal. It focuses on those who crave something elevated, intentional, and artful. And that’s where the magic lives.
A luxury experience isn’t just about how much something costs, it’s about how it makes you feel.
And if you’ve ever sat with one of their cakes in a jar, spoon in hand, letting the flavors unfold one bite at a time, you know that feeling is worth every penny.
Food Movement, Keith Lee Gets It
Need another reason to believe the hype? Keith Lee, the most respected food reviewer on TikTok, tried a few of the Blonery’s signature items and gave high remarks. His video went viral. Orders spiked. People rushed to get a taste of what he described so simply, yet perfectly.
And when you try it for yourself, you’ll understand why. You’ll understand how something so small can leave such a big impression.
Support If You Feel Moved
If you’re inclined and we hope you are, to support a woman owned brand, changing the game in the dessert world, support the GoFundMe. Share the campaign. Order a box. Gift a jar. Tell your friends.
Because brands like this don’t come around often. And people like Auzerais? They’re building the kind of legacy you’ll be proud to say you tasted first.
